This past Saturday:

• Went for my first bicycle ride of the year on the BikeE that I recently purchased from patcannon. Thanks Pat!


• Went to the Artists' Quarter for the Tribute to Lee Morgan by the John Pemberton Quintet. It was a good show marred only by some annoyingly loud people sitting near me. Thanks radparker for inviting me.

This past Sunday:

• Went to The Hopefuls concert at The Fitzgerald Theater with laurel and radparker. It was a great show and I'm glad I went.

Yesterday:

• My first day as a real live boy employee at Digital River.


• My costume sort of sucked, but we won for best group anyway. Thanks ande2713 for being our ring leader.


• Celebratory dinner with laurel at The Good Earth in Edina.

So how do you like the bike? Just asking out of curiosity -- you're out of the warranty period now, i.e. I spent the money. ;)

I just thought to mention the local hotbed of recumbent mania, the local chapter of the Human Powered Vehicle Association: http://mnhpva.org/about/club.html . A friend of mine used to build his own recumbent bikes and so I went on several rides with those guys.

I like the bike a lot. The steering is going to take some getting used to, but I love how comfortable it is to ride.
