Last week the bus I was riding to work on t-boned an SUV. I was startled, but otherwise fine after that. This week, while riding my bicycle home from work, I was crossing a street on the green when someone driving an SUV decided that was the perfect time to make a right turn on red. It knocked me off of my bicycle and I twisted my knee, but other than that and a few minor bruises and scrapes there was no real damage done. So if you see me walking with a limp during the next week or so now you know why.

I'm hoping that this isn't one of those things that "runs in threes" because I really don't want any more accidents involving me and an SUV.

I certainly hope there is no #3 coming! I try not to stereotype, really I do, but it seems to me that a disproportionate amount of the "I own the road, the heck with you" driving I see comes from drivers of SUVs.

You've been in the vehicle that hit the SUV and been hit by the SUV - that leaves being the person who is driving the SUV - and that seems extremely unlikely. So hopefully you are safe.

I'm glad you were not hurt any more than you were.
