  • Removing wallpaper is not the fun, exciting and glamorous job that everyone always makes it out to be.

  • When you're standing precariously on a counter top and almost slip and fall you get interesting ideas, like: "If I fall and knock myself unconscious no one would probably notice until it was too late and I was dead. I wonder if doing this without a spotter is such a good idea?"

I've never heard anyone refer to it as exciting and glamorous -- unless they wuz trying to sell me something.

I have only one suggestion: S-T-E-A-M-E-R-S. It ads the exciting possibility of burning yourself as well, but it does move the blipping wallpaper, well, except for the '50's version in my kitchen.

But the wallpaper comes off really easy in that bathroom, you've got to admit.

But dude, don't stand on that counter without a spotter.

Early on it was, but yesterday and today it was either difficult to get to (the area above the linen closet) or it didn't want to come off easily (the area behind the mirrors).
