SW Metro Transit is encouraging me to ride my bike

The bus route that I take to work, the 681, is going to be restructed starting June 3rd. It looks like I'll have to go all the way downtown to catch the 681, then ride past where I work to the SW transit station, and then take another bus back to where I work. It already takes almost an hour to get to work using the bus and I'm guessing that with these changes it will take even longer.

I've looked at using the bus to get to various of my temp assignments and almost always been forced to conclude that it would be unworkable... being forced to change from taking one bus to two plus a longer trip from home to bus or bus to home sounds NARSTY.
