Sent my resume off to three places today. One of them is a contract position at UHC working on one of the projects that I was working on there before I got laid off in July. The hiring manager is someone that was one of my managers when I worked there. I'm guessing I have a 50/50 shot at getting this one so I'm kind of excited about it. I'm really ready to get back to work after being unemployed for six months. I created a Mindpixel account last night and added some mindpixels. It's kind of an interesting concept though I don't know that anything will ever come of it. I just don't think enough data will ever get entered that it will do any good. Played more RtCW last night and today. I'm not sure how you're supposed to get past the end of level monster on level two without taking a lot of damage, it just seems too tough. Went for a walk around Lake Harriet this afternoon both because it was fairly nice out and so I would stop obsessing about the UHC job. It didn't work very well, I spent almost the whole walk thinking about the job.
