Second Life? I haven't mastered first life yet!

I've been spending a lot of my free time lately in Second Life (warning! Affiliate string attached to link! Sign up via that link and I might get something.) While not perfect I see a lot of promise in it. It's a 3D immersive environment that instead of being goal directed and conflict oriented (e.g World of Warcraft) is more about creating and exploring. I've created a group in-world called The Scientifictional League that I hope will eventually grow into something like a real world science fiction club and I've built a clubhouse for the group on some virtual land I've bought.
