Very little interesting has been happening in my life lately (like that's any sort of change). On Wednesday Stephanie had a second interview for a job at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Hopefully at least one of us will get a job soon. Thursday I went to lunch with a bunch of my friends and found out that one of them had been laid off since New Year's and another of them was very worried about getting laid off. This economy just really sucks. Friday I went for another walk around Lake Harriet. I really can't believe how nice this Winter has been, I keep expecting us to get punished for all of this nice weather by having it drop to twenty below and dump four feet of snow on us. I still haven't heard anything back about the UHC job so on Friday afternoon I gave the hiring manager a call. She wasn't there so I had to leave a voice mail message for her. I can't believe how much I've been obsessing over this.
