More Re: Rune
Jul. 27th, 2009 01:50 pmTwo questions from the comments on my previous post about volunteering to become Rune editor.
I thought there was a reasonable chance that I'd be able to get at least one issue of Rune out successfully, and it didn't look like
galacticvoyeur had any plans to do that in the forseeable future.
I don't think I'm going to be overwhelmed with content so I don't think I can afford to be very picky. If it looks like nobody is submitting content because there isn't a theme for them to target I'll look at doing a theme, but for now I'm going to welcome just about anything people give me.
As to deadline I'd at least like to know about planned submissions by the end of September, but if something shows up out of the blue after then and before I publish I'm not going to complain.
Elsewhere someone asked me "what are you looking for? Fannish, SF related?" Beggars can't be choosers, but if anyone is agonizing between two articles/drawings/whatever to send and the deciding factor is fannish vs. SF I guess I'd choose fannish.
So what kind of platform, goals, approach, purpose, drove you to this insanity idea?

Do you have any guidelines, themes, deadlines for content?

I might be crazy, but I'm not stupid. I do expect this to be as easy as pulling teeth. But I've already got a couple of people who've said they'll submit something so I'm hoping it won't prove to be impossible.
